Prof. Zhi Xiaoqiang from Renmin University of China gave an academic lecture on how to manage integrative thinking to the 2016 and 2017 MPAcc students in the afternoon of March 23, 2018.
Professor Zhi is Vice Dean of Renmin Business School and a Doctoral Supervisor. He is currently a member of multiple associations and has won awards and prizes time and again. Professor Zhi has chaired numerous projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education. He has published many articles in such journals asManagement World, Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Research and Nankai Business Review.
In the lecture, Prof. Zhi elaborated that the three elements of corporate values—growth, return and risk—affect each other through checks and balances, and with the specific examples of Yang Guo, he illustrated the different effects resulted from different modes of thinking; and he stressed that only by combing and integrating different modes of thinking can we make breakthroughs.
