ECJTU currently offer courses in eight academic disciplines: Science, Engineering, Economics, Management, Literature, Law, Education and Art. At present, we have 17 schools, more than 23,500 registered students, 1930 staff and faculty members, including more than 500 professors and associate professors. ECJTU is composed of 18 schools, offering 3 doctoral programs of the first-rank disciplines, 16 master’s programs of the first-rank disciplines and 63 undergraduate programs.

Initially founded in 1983, School of Economics and Management (hereinafter referred to as “SEM”) consists of four departments, which are respectively the Department of Economics, Management, Accounting and Statistics. SEM admits undergraduates of the following 10 majors, which include accounting, human resources management, business management, marketing, economics, finance, international economics and trade, statistics, economic statistics, as well as information management and information systems.

To meet the fast development of domestic railways, ECJTU officially started to enroll undergraduate students majoring in statistics in 1992, and started to admit academic graduates in 2001 and MAS graduates in 2010.

After five years of growth, MAS now cultivates students of three directions, which are respectively finance and insurance statistics, transportation and logistics statistics, and data engineering. MAS center now has 9 supervisors within the university and 8 more outside, and it has more than 20 MAS students at the university.
