The national MPAcc faculty training meeting sponsored by the China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee and hosted by East China Jiaotong University (ECJTU) was successfully unveiled on November 28th, attracting over 200 professors and experts from about 80 universities across the country. ECJTU President Luo Yufeng and Pro. Zhang Rui of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics delivered opening remarks, welcoming the arrival of all guests. Director Wang Yongyan and Secretary Wang Qi of the Committee attended the ceremony, and Dean Han Shizhuan of School of Economics and Management of ECJTU chaired the opening ceremony.
Pro. Han Hongling of Zhejiang University, Prof. Li Sihai of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Pro. Li Ling of Central University of Finance and Economics, and Pro. Li Shi of Xiamen National Accounting Institute made impressive reports on auditing, finance management, management accounting and finance accounting respectively during November 29th-30th. Participants had active interactions and in-depth exchanges with the four professors, all benefiting a lot.
Founded in 2010 and starting to enroll full-time professional accounting students in 2011, ECJTU MPAcc center has gradually developed its own distinct characteristics: (1)basing itself on the transportation industry and setting a range of transportation-centered courses; (2)targeting at market demands and seeking cooperation with CIMA, with an eye to cultivating much-needed senior management accounting talents; (3)pursuing internationalization and jointly fostering high-quality graduates in cooperation with Western Sydney University and other overseas universities.
