Final contest of the 4thChina College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation&Entrepreneurship Competition, themed “ride the tide of the era and strive for excellence in China” , was held in Xiamen University on October 13-14.
ECJTU Project “佳时特：智能化制造助力中国智造” (JUST: Intellectualized Manufacturing Empowers Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing) won gold medal, ranking 15th among 58 gold medal winners. The project concentrated on developing independently Numerical Control Machines featuring high speed and high precision, with an eye to filling in gaps in domestic precision manufacturing. It won a high score of 792 in the final contest and attracted investment interests from 39 investors and entrepreneurs.
All participating ECJTU students faced challenges and problems in a calm and confident manner under the guidance of SEM faculty Yu Desheng and Wen Tao and ECJTU alumnus Liu Hua.
Lasting 6 months, the 2018 Competition was attended by 2,278 Chinese universities and colleges, attracting more than 2,650,000 college students who participated in the selection at various levels. Many high-quality projects with innovative advantages and market potential came to the fore from the competition. They either got a huge market promotion or attracted faster investment at a higher valuation.
