Dr. Hu Junnan’s thesis Environmental Responsibility, Market Valuation, And Firm Characteristics: Evidence From China was recently published in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, a Q1 SSCI journal with an Impact Factor of 4.918. The thesis, using a large panel of listed firms in China from 2010 to 2015, investigates the valuation effect of corporate environmental responsibility (CER) and firm characteristics that influence such an effect. Dr. Hu is a core member of the Environment Accounting and Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center, and her keen research interests lie in environment management accounting and corporate environment responsibility. Dr. Hu was a visiting professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. She chaired one National Science Foundation of China project and seven provincial-level research projects.
