The 3rd Annual Meeting of China's New Industrialization and Urbanization Development Forum and Small Town Construction with Jiangxi Characteristics Summit Forum co-sponsored by East China Jiaotong University, China Railway 17th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Consulting & Investment Group Co., Ltd. was grandly reveiled On December 20th, 2017 in Nanchang. The forum aimed to create a high-end platform of exchanges and communication centering small town construction in the academic and application fields.
More than 400 guests, including government administrators, entrepreneurs, social organizations, and academicians attended the event. They focused on hot topics, likethe trends of informationization, artificial intelligence, ecologicalization, and human culture in the construction of small towns. By interpreting successfulcases of small towns, drawing on the experience of building state- and provincial-level featured towns, and discussing the focal points and development patterns of different regions, the attendees provided new ideas, methods and mechanisms for the construction of towns with Jiangxi characteristics, and injected a new impetus into the construction of National Ecological Civilization Pilot Area in Jiangxi Province and the construction of a “Jiangxi Model” for beautiful China.
Academician Liu Yunjie of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, former president Li Xiaojiangof the China Academy of Urban Planning & Design, CEO Lu Peng of the China Railway 17th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and Chancellor Wan Ming of ECJTU CPC Committee attended the event and delivered keynote speeches. President Luo Yufengof ECJTU made opening remarks. CPC Secretary and Chairman Wu Yongming of the Jiangxi Provincial Association of Social Sciences chaired the forum, Mr. Yang Huiwen of Jiangxi Education Department also attended the forum.
