As the first batch of CMA students, 13 of 2015 CMA students participated in the P1 and P2 qualification exams of Certified Management Accountant in July and November this year and they all passed, demonstrating the internationalization trend of the accounting department.
Certified Management Accountant, short for CMA, is a professional qualification established by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). It is an internationally-recognized professional qualification for financial managers, and a top-level, authoritative qualification worldwide in the management accounting field, and it is the only financial and economic certification designated by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council for employees of state-owned enterprises.
This encouraging result cannot be achieved without the efforts of students and teachers of the accounting department. From the formulation of cultivation plans to the delivering of each course, the teachers have, with CMA basis and framework at the core, laid a solid foundation for their students; and, the students have studied assiduously in the preparation process, efficiently integrated all aspects of knowledge, and greatly enhanced the speed of solving problems. The 100% passing rate seems accidental, when it is in fact inevitable.
